Parque tantauco joins the National Environment Day

On October 7 and 8, our country celebrates for the third time the National Environment Day, decreed by President Michelle Bachelet with the objective that every first weekend of October we promote environmental education and raise awareness about the importance of preserve Chile’s natural heritage.

Tantauco did not want to be left out of such an important initiative, so it will open its doors to tourists without charging the value of the ticket for four consecutive days, taking advantage of the long weekend.

 

“For us as a Park it is essential that more and more Chileans know the wonders of nature and can enjoy outdoor activities. That is why we hope that this weekend is an opportunity to learn about our conservation project, “said Sebastián Niemeyer, manager of Operations Parque Tantauco.
